We interviewed Joe and two other realtors for the sale of my parents home. Each realtor seemed qualified and could do OK. But Joe seemed to be the one that would do the best job and HE DID! ! Melanie was our exceptional advocate and real estate agent during our 5-month home purchasing ordeal. We now live in our perfect home! Melanie patiently showed us at least 2 dozen homes while we searched for the perfect house. She has a keen eye, super-hero Spidey Sense and a pro's knowledge of the Las Vegas real estate market. Each time we considered a house, she would give us the pros and cons so we could make the decision. Mel never pressured us and was always patient (we changed our minds several times). I'm extremely thankful for her advice. Once we finally decided on our current home, the owners and their agent proved to be unreasonable. Mel was always in our corner to manage and shield us from this difficult process while also keeping us informed. She negotiated and countered like a Jedi Knight! (We later learned that Joe was the behind-the-scenes negotiator as well--so we felt like the entire DG Realty team was pulling for us). While we didn't have to, we trusted Mel's recommendations for our inspections (Red Beard Inspections), our mortgage (floor rate mortgages) and title company (First American Title Insurance Company). (Oh BTW, Red Beard Inspections saved us from drama on our first choice--I highly recommend Jed Semper's services. Kris Martino at floor rate mortgages also worked in our best interest--twice). Finally, every phone call and e-mail we received from DgRealty (especially Erin) was courteous, professional and timely. They answered all of our questions during this process.

Coming from Chicago the architecture, neighborhoods and lack of backyards here posed a real challenge for us. They were not just overly patient with us but they would give us honest feedback like we were family members. They found us the perfect house in the right neighborhood and were incredible negotiators. They are both experts in their field and we will continue to refer our friends and family to them.

It's clear he's been in this market for over 25 years as he is able to educate on all of the advantages and disadvantages of each community. He is also the only person I would want negotiating on my behalf buying or selling because he negotiates as if it's his own money. He is going to get you the most money if you're selling or the best deal if you're buying!

I come from a real estate family in Utah (father is a Realtor, my older sister and brother in law are in the business), I grew up watching what separates the part-timers from the full-timers and the full-timers from the pros. The folks at Dg Realty are pros. The thing that impressed me most about Joe/Dave & Shannan is they don't sugar coat things or tell you what you want to hear (or guide you to do what's in their best interest), they tell you what they're going to do and then they do it. Sometimes that means a little tough love but they don't BS. Joe negotiated the purchase of my last home in a multi-offer scenario (the seller had 5 offers to choose from). I truly believe our offer was accepted because the Dg Realty Team picked up the phone and the seller's Realtor could tell she was dealing with a team of professionals. Later in the process, Joe was able to negotiate several things in our favor (repairs/appraisal items). Every time I've purchased a home, it's been a stressful process, there's no changing that.
